For projects that need permits, I bring together the full team: a licensed general contractor who pulls the permits and signs off on the work, plus architects, engineers and designers I trust. You get one person to talk to — from the empty space to opening day.

A complete salon build-out, from empty space to opening day — about a year and a half of work. I ran this project myself from start to finish: opening and closing permits, all inspections, and coordinating a full team of licensed professionals — architect, designer, engineers, plumbers and electricians. The hands-on finish work was mine: all the tile, all the painting and all the drywall finishing.
